Five months. That’s all it took to completely change my relationship with my body, my health, and myself.

This journey was never just about the number on the scale —
It was about confidence, healing years of insecurity, and finally learning how to live a healthy lifestyle that feels sustainable and kind.
I first reached out to Coach Mendy Lynn toward the end of July, with one modest hope: to be somewhere between 150–155 lbs by December for my Indian wedding.
I had already had my American wedding the year before, and while it was a beautiful day, I didn’t feel confident in my body.
By the time India came around, I had gained even more weight and felt deeply insecure about being the center of attention at another wedding — especially knowing how much emphasis there can be on appearance.
At 5’1”, that weight felt especially heavy on my frame, both physically and emotionally.
I had tried many things before finding Coach Mendy Lynn.
Noom. Intermittent fasting. Intense gym routines. I worked out like crazy and restricted myself constantly, yet I could never lose more than 5–8 lbs, no matter how hard I tried. Each attempt ended in frustration and disappointment.
So when I started this program, I’ll be honest — I was extremely skeptical.
This felt like my last try. I told myself that if I was going to invest money I barely had, I was going to give it 100%, because I had nothing left to lose.
When Coach Mendy Lynn confidently told me that not only could I reach my goal by December, but that I could be close to 140 lbs, I actually laughed. It felt unrealistic. Too good to be true. But I trusted her — and I followed the plan. And the results were exactly what she said they would be.
Coach Mendy Lynn crafted a meal plan that fit my budget and my cultural tastes — something no program had ever done for me before.
We adjusted it weekly, based on my needs, my progress, and my life. She didn’t just tell me what to eat; she taught me how to live. She coached me through festivals, social events, stressful weeks, and travel — without guilt or fear.
Week after week, I lost 1–2 pounds consistently. And on the weeks when the scale didn’t move, I understood why — because I had deviated from the plan. There was no confusion, no shame, just clarity and learning.
What surprised me most was how deeply this journey went beyond weight loss. Coach Mendy Lynn didn’t just help me change my body — she helped change my mindset. She coached me through my insecurities, helped me reframe how I viewed health, and supported me emotionally when stress or fear crept in.
I was especially anxious about going to India, worried I’d undo all my progress. But Coach Mendy Lynn proactively helped me plan ahead — sharing easy protein snacks I could take with me, strategies to navigate long wedding days, and tools to stay grounded instead of stressed.
Because of that preparation, I walked into my wedding feeling confident, calm, and proud.
I cannot fully describe how incredible it felt to stand at my Indian wedding with confidence.
As someone who has struggled with body insecurities since middle school, I spent years hiding — keeping my hair down and in front of me, choosing clothes to distract from my body, shrinking myself to avoid attention.
Now, I put my hair in a bun. I tuck my shirt in. These may sound small, but for me, they are monumental victories.
My husband, who has been incredibly supportive throughout this journey, recently told me that he finds me even more attractive now — not just because of the physical change, but because he sees me liking myself, standing taller, and catching my own reflection in the mirror with confidence.
I am endlessly grateful for where I started — and for how far Coach Mendy Lynn has walked with me.
This isn’t the end of my journey. I’m continuing with her to learn how to maintain my weight and sustain this lifestyle long-term.
As someone who is cautious with money and deeply skeptical of most programs, I never imagined I’d be the person recommending one to friends and family. But this isn’t just a program — this is a lifestyle.
